I wasn't sure Well cheers! I have a broken camera at the minute, so borrowed one to take these - I have a couple more but that's it unfortunately.

>That's a fine catch of a very smart looking coach Finlay, certainly something to look forward to seeing when things are back to somewhere near normal :-)

The Panorama is I think a smashing looking coach, and it fits the Oxford Tube livery very well. Work took me down to London, so I thought I'd take my camera down with me - I think that's legal Well

Here's to forthcoming normality Well

Lovely shot Well

Is there a plan to make 'Pulsar 2' a distinct model as has been done with the Eclipse generations?
Thanks. Info updated!

This bus has been untaxed since March 2018, and it's last MOT expired in February 2019.
I think it's very likely withdrawn Well

I've found it - DVLA records show that this was first registered in September 2009. At that time, Mayne Coaches of Manchester received two Cityzens: X118 ABA and X119 ABA. Both subsequently passed on to Holmeswood, and were re-registered ESK 807 and 466 YMG respectively. I was trying to work out what the word above the nearside headlamp says, but I've realised that it doesn't say anything, it's the remnants of a Scania logo that has fallen off. Looking through Flickr, X119 ABA/466 YMG is seen with the logo in 2008 (https://www.flickr.com/photos/avro45/9734120880/), and without it in 2012 (https://www.flickr.com/photos/nicksbuscoach/8054866915/).

This is X119 ABA!

I've also found out during this search that Spike's Coaches and C L Travel (the Probus I posted at the same time as this) are the same company, under the banner of Collins, but seperate from Collins Coaches, Cambridge...

The purchase of this bus by Kavanagh is mentioned in page 14 of the Spring 2009 edition of Fleet Transport Bus & Coach:
https://issuu.com/rivierabrian/docs/fleetbncspring09

Just a note too, in the fleet list "Pierce Kavangh & Sons" should be spelled "Pierce Kavanagh & Sons" (final 'a' in 'Kavanagh' missing) Well

It's true that the logo is definitely Lucketts-y, but I can't find any evidence of a connection. None of Skills literature mentions Lucketts, and Lucketts' listed subsidiaries only include Worthing Coaches, Coliseum Coaches, Solent Coaches and Mortons Travel.

Also, with Lucketts having just been purchased by National Express, what's the plan for the database?

I don't think 4 JXX was ever on PO12 JNJ. As far as I can tell 4 JXX went first onto PN08 LAO, then onto PO12 JNF, and finally onto PE13 HCJ (ther silver tri-axle). Can't work out the dates of transfer though. I've seen 4 JXX on the tri-axle, will upload soon Well

>Nice catch Well
> Any ideas, what is that thing in front of the front wheel? As there are no more mirrors, I believe it might be some kind of lane assistance stuff?

Aye, the rollers are there on the front wheels because this service runs on the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway - see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cambridgeshire_Guided_Busway - it also has multiple view cameras instead of mirrors. Well

I believe that these have come in to replace the 2009 Enviro 400s like this: https://busphoto.club/view/3500/ that have had the guiding rollers removed. These '09 Enviro 400s will now run the 5 and 6 services that used to run by ALX400s that have gone up to Stagecoach Manchester Well

The seats on this bus are in a 2-3 configuration. You'd be pinched sideways rather than longways...
Interesting to note that this is the only single decker coach in Dunmows fleet that they don't classify as 'Executive' (with the exception of their 1957 Vintage coach). Well
