Got Engine failure on delivery in 2002, was sent back to Munich for repairs, then came back to Dealer in 2003 and at that time MAN issued a few recalls while travelled, so they fixed them for about a year and in 2004 it was finally delivered to Sim's Travel, Cumbria and got 04 plates. Unfortunately, no info on the very first plate. Might be the trade plates.

Don't argue This is Scania, which was built in two countries. Chassis - Sweden, Body - Finland (Lahti city). They were basically, always made by Lahden finnish bodyshop on Scania chassis, but always sold as Scania OmniExpress. Same with Touring HD which is practically built by Higher, but still sold as Touring HD. But the thing is, not all of these do have second long Serial, what is definitely makes it Lahden VIN

But in the same time, according to the same service program assembly list, this one is the most "naked" basic version available. Does not even have individual air vents or reading lights. Just grey plastic inserts all way long. Very interesting what did they tried to demonstrate? Usually demonstrators come nearly over packed with extras, to show all available options to potential buyer. This one is completely opposite

Guest sitting area and kitchen on lower deck, and two bedrooms and own hall on the upper. Then you just need to buy or rent small space at any of the truckyards, connect it to the electricity and wastage, and once per year go for the MOT. And if "feck it, rocket in the ass" mood starts up, fill up and drive on sightseeing tour. Should be cheaper overall than buying a house. And Axial to be honest, is more made for that conversion than any other double decker. These have pretty high roof on top, comparing with Astromegas or Neoplans
